The selected folder is a "Read -Only" Please select a valid folder

When encountering the error message "The selected folder is 'Read-Only'. Please select a valid folder," during the Epiplex launch, it indicates that the designated repository destination lacks the necessary privileges. The user can map the repository to the any path that has the read and write permissions to the folder.
Please follow the below steps to resolve the below concern. 
  • Error message: "The selected folder is 'Read-Only'. Please select a valid folder,"

     
  • Click on OK


  • A new window named Local Repository Setting will pop up.
  • Name the Repository as per your requirement and then select the  icon to browse the location to place the repository. 
  • Browse the Repository Folder to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Epiplex
    (Note if you are unable to locate the c drive path you can map it to any folder with all read, write and execute privileges such as Documents)

  1. You will be back on the Local Repository Setting Page with the repository path updated and click on Add.

  1. Once the Repository path is added,  select it and click on Apply.
