How to Share Simulation Content: A Step-by-Step Guide

Epiplex offers a versatile range of output formats, including Documents, Simulations, Cue Cards, and more. The Simulation feature in Epiplex provides an interactive platform that enhances end-user learning through engaging modes (Show, Guide, and Test). These modes collectively make the learning process more engaging and effective. Once the simulations are generated in Epiplex, they become independent and can be easily shared with other users.

Follow the below steps to share simulation content with other users:
  1. From the Epiplex Home page, open the Developer File you want to use to generate a simulation.
  2. Make all necessary edits to the Developer File according to your requirements.
  3. Navigate to the File tab in the top left corner and click on Generate Simulation.
  4. When the Simulation Wizard pops up, click Generate

Once the simulation is generated the output will be placed at repository and Developer Users needs to share the content from the repository to End users.
Go to repository by clicking on the Repository link provided in the Epiplex home screen.

  1. In the repository, navigate to the Content folder, then to the Epilearns folder.
  2. There users will find the folder name with the same name as that of your process. This folder will contain three files: .elm, .htm, and _files folder.
  3. To share the simulation, the developer user should zip all three files and share them.

Here in the above screenshot Sample_ProcessCapture is the process name and within that folder you need to zip all three files which are  _files,  .elm and .htm files and share the zip file to end-users for accessing it.

Steps to be followed by the end users to launch the simulation
  1. End users need to download the zip file shared by the developers.
  2. If found, Unblock the file from the properties.

  1. Extract the zip file
  2. Launch the .htm file to accessing the content.
